Thank you very much for the Birthday wishes, I have a flood of Doctor Who cakes on the Repo thread , if I could eat them I would be very happy 9 and fat) indeed.

:thumbsup2

Happy Birthday Andrew!!:bday:

I haven't started packing yet. I always do it just before we go. However, I have huge piles of clothes and other items on the spare bed and floor. I have NO idea how I am going to get it all in my bags!:scared1: We leave 1 week tomorrow to go to the airport hotel and fly out a week on Tuesday.:dance3:

Thank you for birthday wish, glad you are now packing for the trip, from the UK it is more difficult as its al ong trip and re trans atlantic trips, best for more bags, but less in each, and also put sme clothes for each person in each bag re the luggage problems in the UK.

In the end the ship does have laundry, might not wish to use it, but it cuts what you take.

Have a good one.

I am planing to do a Blog for friends and family to follow. It will depend what the internet package cost. Last year on the Med trip it was not unlimited, and the upload speed was as bad as dial up. I did a Blog on the first Med trip but could not finish, I ran out of money.

If I do one I will post a link here and in the trip reports.

That would be great. I heard that there was no unlimited internet package. Not sure why not, but I do understand that it might get too expensive. We'll galdly take whatever little nuggets you can throw our way. Have a great cruise!!!

Happy Birthday Andrew, hope you had a great day!

Hey you Westbounders...been busy packing? I am so excited for y'all!!

Just started making my piles today. Went through all the clothes, tried on some stuff....made an emergency shopping trip for formal night (!) and will assemble the 'pharmacy' tonight. Next weekend will be house cleaning, pedicure, hair coloring and stuffing the suitcases.

To any short, fluffy eastbound ladies: I've offered up a size 22 formal ensemble to my cruise mates, if no one takes it, I'll post a picture on your thread so maybe someone can use it.

:bday: party: Andrew

I have not start the packing yet so will do it this week as the kids will be away this weekend with parents for 3 nights as bank holiday. So I will do packing the kids clothes first.

Oh it won't be long now

I got email from Tara, she was my first interpreter on the Cruise, she was telling me that I will have a fabulous times with two interpreters. She is not coming.:sad1: She is lovely woman. But Brian will be coming as he was with us last year at Med, he was a great guy and another one we have not met her. Tara told us that she know that we will have a great times with two interpreters.:thumbsup2 Oh bless her.

Good Morning All - Won't be long now.

We also spent Sunday "Test Packing" - but took everything back out of the cases.

Still have house cleaning and other details, LIKE CHECKING IN ON LINE to complete.....

Where does the time go?

Starting to seperate clothes for the trip. Have to pack my WDW clothes and day one of the cruise clothes in my cary on bag as I don't want to unpack until I get to my room on the Magic.

That is a bonus! Send the kids away so you can pack! I may just do the same! You must be so darn excited!

I laughed at very hard at the post about preparing the "pharmacy". We do the same. I always overpack "emergency" items and medicines. I can't even imagine what my crazy brain will make me take on a 15 night adventure, plus add our week long pre cruise trip. I will probably have a whole suitcase of pharmacy items! Good thing there are 7 of us which means we get 14 suitcases allowed! WHEW!

How I hate that job - do it too early and you end up taking it all out again to see what you have forgotten and if you leave it late it never seems to fit in the case. Know I should have been born royalty and had all those things handled for me by someone else. Every time we go I promise to cut down and pack sensibly and it never works always cram things in the last minute.
This year, however, am going to really try hard. Well see.

Good luck! I say the same thing everytime and end up with way too much stuff! Have fun and enjoy your trip!

The thought of packing is driving me crazy! Although, I'm excited to get it done, and finally start this cruise....I'm trying to keep us all to one suitcase each to avoid paying the fee of $25, not sure that is going to be possible with a 15 day cruise.
