Panama City Beach in May?

I've never been to Panama City Beach. What can you tell me about it? Is the beach nice? How about the ocean? Are there things to do for 20-somethings? Also, what about the Holiday Inn Sunspree?

My sister used to live in PCB, beautiful area, beautiful beaches. (at least it was 10 years ago) The weather should be perfect in May, I would think. The sand is called 'sugar sand' because it is so fine and white. I really can't give you any specifics because it has been a long time since I was there. Nice beach resort town, IMO. You will have a good time.

Oh, there is plenty for 20-somethings. It's a big Spring Break destination for the college set, so lots of bars, clubs, etc. There's also plenty of family-friendly activities as well.

The beach is lovely, although a bit crowded for my tastes (LOTS of hotels, condos, etc.). The sand is sugar white and the water is crystal clear. Gotta love the Gulf coast!

We love Panama city beach, the sand is so white and soft. The water is warm and nice, lots of restaurants, hotels, bars, and things to do with Kids also.
Do not go there during Spring Break! Lots of Students and the hotels, roads, beaches are pack!

We went in 2003 at the end of May and it was very nice.
