Hello all,
I haven't posted here but have lurked from time to time. I am not a runner but who knows, maybe someday. I am a walker and had been doing really well with my walks-then about a month ago I got bit by a dog while on my walk. It was just a little dog that ran right out in the road and bit my leg.
It's been kind of a pain going to the doctor, getting a tetnus shot, reporting the dog bite to the police. It was just a small puncture wound but the bruise covered most of my calf. The bruise is almost gone but I now have a hardness under the skin that is maybe an internal bruise or scar tissue??
Anyway to make a long story long....I have not been walking as much as I need to. I really enjoy walking outside but have been trying to use the treadmill more now. I tend to get bored on the treadmill-does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the time go by faster while on the treadmill?? I listen to music and the podcast now, but even that can get old after a while.
You all are doing so well on your goals and I hope to do as well on mine.
