Pampering yourself

How often do you get manicures/pedicures/massages, etc? I love to get pedis, try to get one every 3 weeks. Right now I really need a massage, which is what made me ask the question.

Not too often. I get a manicure 3-4 times a year and a massage if I'm lucky once a year. I got my last pedicure over a year ago!

I guess I'm overdue???

No, seriously, I've only ever gotten 1 massage, and while I love the way my nails look manicured, I have very nice nails, so they look ok not (professionally) manicured.

and 1 time I did get a pedicure / manicure for my birthday but thats been so long ago .....maybe I'll hint that I need it for x-mas ...

Never. I don't enjoy it, and I don't have the extra cash to blow on them. Ages ago, when it was the trend, I had acrylic nails but not anymore. I don't enjoy pedicures and wouldn't get one if someone paid for it - now a massage wouldn't be bad, too bad they're so pricey!

Never. I used to get a manicure twice a month, but I stopped it a few years ago. I've never had a massage or a pedicure.

I thought you massaged yourself, Lush Maybe if you didn't spend so much time on barstools, you wouldn't need a massage

Pedis- every 4 weeks from May-September, no one else really sees my feet in the other months
Manis- only for special occasion, my nails are actually pretty nice and I have to cut them every few weeks because they grow ridiculously fast
Massages- haven't had once since a pregnancy one in April but treating myself to one and a facial before I return to work next month

Mmmmm.....maybe I need one now!

I get my nails done once a month (pink and white gels last awhile), pedicures once a month in the summer, and once every few months in the winter. I often get gift cards to my spa, so I usually get a facial every few months, and a massage maybe twice a year. I am relaxed just remembering my last massage.

ummm.... I guess im the bad one,acrilic gel nails filled every 2 weeks,pedis once every 2 weeks in the summer once a month in the winter,eyebrows waxed every week,hair cut and highlights every 6 weeks.This past winter they had a reflexologist (sp) at the gym i go to it was basically a 30 min foot massage once every 2 weeks it felt sooooo good.He took the summer off i sure hope hes back this winter .I have followed this pampering for the past 3 years,when the kids were little i did and spent on them non stop now they are older its me time and i like it.

I've only had one massage in my life - that was on our DCL vacation back in June. It was nice, but I feel no need to make a habit of it.

I haven't painted my nails in over 20 years. I was gonna get a manicure on my wedding day, but since I spent 5 hours that day in the ER, we ran a little short on time at the salon. So, I had to skip something, and manicure it was. No sweat.

I guess, for me, my pampering comes in the form of cleaning ladies every-other Tuesday. Like I said, spa and beauty treatments are nice. But, they don't really give me a feeling of rest and relief like I get from skipping (heavy) housework.

I get manicures once a week. I get pedicures every 3 weeks in the summer, never in the winter. Massages, maybe once or twice a year, I'd love to go more often though. I just got a gc for a pre-natal massage so I'll be booking that for the day after I get back from Disney.

Pedicure every 3-5 weeks as needed. Manicure every other week or so. Facial every 2-3 months. Massage when we are on vacation someplace with a spa where I can get a hot stone. Otherwise I'd rather have a facial.

Everybody could use more massage! It makes the world a happier place!

We try to trade as much as possible at the Spa. I would say I try for every other week, but it works out to once a month for massage.

I get a massage every couple of months. Pedicures are every month usually. I love european facials and get them once a month or so. I am going this week for my Chocolate Delight. DH got me this for a gift. I am getting a full chocolate body scrub, chocolate raspberry spa pedicare, european facial and an hour massage. I can't wait!
