There really isn't anything pampered chef sells now that you can't find cheaper (or comparably priced) at a decent kitchen goods store. If you don't have a kitchen goods store near you, they are a great alternative. They definitely used to be the best source of high-end, well-made kitchen items. I still use and love my giant square baking stone (I use it almost exclusively for making homemade pizzas or calzones), my oven mitts from them (word of caution--was them in cold water and if you can handle the long wait, let them air-dry--they WILL shrink and malform in the dryer), as well as my garlic press and potato peeler. Most of all, though, have fun and enjoy the munchies!
