Pampered Chef items

I also sold Pampered Chef for 2 yrs when DD was small. My favorites are the spatulas and the measure all cup. I also really like the small quick cut knives for $1 (we have about 10 of them) and the twix it clips. I one thing I didn't like was the cookie press I bought a few years ago.

Love all my PC stuff especially:
The microwave pot w/lid that is great for melting butter or heating soups.
The pizza cutter is awesome and the cheese knife actually cuts tomatoes really nice. The little $1 knives are wonderful too.

I own everything Pampered Chef sold from 1997 to 2002 because I sold it. I still use about 3/4 of it on a daily basis. On the odd occasion when something broke, I sent it back and they sent me a new one or replaced it with something different. I can't imagine what you have that didn't work right.

100% agreement, add to that I also was a PC consultant from 1997-2001

The stones are lifetime warranty, ALL of the knifes are lifetime warranty, and the smallest warranty they have is a full year.

Plus, most consultants will replace something for you if it truly was defective...but in 4 years, I NEVER had a customer call with something that broke...

That said- I use my stones daily, the big batter bowl, the littel batter bowl, the self sharpening knifes- (got em all) love the steak knife set, the oven mits, and pad......the tool turn about......the large micro cooker....okay I'll stop now....no wait, the best is the professional cookware!

Actually, I believe the stones only have a three year warranty. I tried to get them to replace one of mine that broke, and my consultant told me that. I ended up buying a new one, I loved my first one so much!

I think I own almost everything! Their new book just came out in september.

I'm hosting a party on Oct 25. Anyone want to come? hehe

I only have one Pampered Chef item and it's a Cut-N-Seal (actually, I have 2 ... a small one and a bigger one). I use it to make my own uncrustables sandwiches for my DD.

Duh...I forgot our most favorite of all (DD & I), which is the cut-n-seal for sandwhiches. I HATE crust on my sandwhiches. It's also great for DD's lunches and it keeps all the meat, cheese, mayo, or whatever you use (PB&J), inside the bread with a nice neat edging. If mine broke, I'd have a new one ASAP!!!!!

Your right......

I broke 1 in the 10 years of so I've had them, but it was when I was a consultant, and was a recent buy

I love my pizza stone and the pizza cutter oh and the spatula is great

I'm a pampered chef nut !!!!!!!

I love my pampered chef stuff. For the longest time I only had the small round pizza stone and the bar pan. Then when around the last couple of months, I've been inundated with pc parties. There was the one main one 2 months ago, another girl had the end of last month, right after that there was a catalog party, I had one last thursday, there's another one in two weeks and I had someone book off mine in November. I just finished ordering my host stuff and lets just say it's going to be my xmas, mothers day, birthday, etc gift to myself :) I have a chopper and can't wait to get the garlic press and the other stuff I ordered. :) 7-10 days more!

I just love the Pampered Chef stuff. My most recent purchase are these really cool stainless steel mixing bowls - they came 3 in package (all with lids). They all have a spout-type thing on one side, and a rubber-ringed hole on an extended edge for your thumb to hold onto when you pour from the spout. But BEST OF ALL! They all have a rubber bottom so the thing doesn't fly around the kitchen counter - they stay put when you mix in them. Love 'em!

And those twixit clips are pretty nice too - keeps stuff fresh for a long time.

At least once a week I make 'orange and white fries' on my pc stone.

3 baking potatoes
cut into 'steak fry' size pieces
put potato pieces in a dish of water and microwave for 5 minutes
drain water and toss with a tablespoon of olive oil and a little salt

2 yams/sweet potatoes
peel and cut into same size pieces
toss in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme, nutmeg, garlic powder, dry parsley

bake all the orange and white fries on a stone at 375 until they look 'golden' --around 25 minutes.

Add a dash more salt and pepper as soon as they come out of the oven. Serve with ketchup.

These are so yummy!!

About the transfer of tastes to other items. If something has stuck, or there is residue left in/on the pan put it into the oven and bake the residue off. This will help to season the stone and get rid of the taste. You can also use a solid shorting on the stones and put them in the oven with nothing else on them and season them this way. Just like iron.

I'm not a fan of theirs. I have a chopper that I've never used. Sure doesn't look very well made. But they have a spreader that I absolutely loved for making sandwiches. That was until the stainless steel(?) started to RUST where it meets the handle within a year. Their return policy STINKS! Who the heck keeps their receipt a year? Ugh. I won't buy a thing from them again.

My favorite PC item is the bar pan. I love to fix bacon on it!
Also, if you feel that you have to "clean" your stoneware you can make a paste of baking soda and water, rub it on in a circular motion and rinse it well. I just use hot water though, most of the time.

I am just getting started with them. I went to one party because I love to cook and the products they sell are great. At the party I was approached about becoming a kitchen consultant becaue of my love for cooking. It's going to be an interesting experience.

Some of my favorite things are the Stones, infact I use the large round like it's the only piece I have in my kitchen and I am in love with the ice cream dipper. Everyone that has used it at my place has wanted one so I have purchased about 8 of these things...

I'm looking froward to getting started with them, I love the product line!

I use my pizza stone at least three or four times a week and usually not for pizza. I find that I almost never use a cookie sheet any more. I have the wire holder but am too lazy to get it out sometimes!

The muffin pan makes fantastic muffins but is a pain to clean.

I always buy a couple of the $1 knives on the theory that if I'm paying the handling charge, I should get a few more.

I have a tiny spatula (think turner -- why are two different kitchen items given that name? :confused3) that I won at a party, and it's great.

I bought kitchen shears at the first party I ever attended and they are nothing special, so don't buy them.

I love everything Pampered Chef! That is one of the best parties to have-you usually get lots of free stuff if people buy a lot. I love the food chopper, the cookie dough scoop, the batter bowl and the $1 recipe books.

I was running out of things to order at friends parties -
sso I just got the grater, slicer thing - and it rocks! LOVE the way it fits on the bowl... it had a holder thing so you can't grate your fingers accidentally - etc!
It is a pple pie season so the Apple-peeler corer slicer rocks for that (good for making crisp too) and the kids think eating slinky apples is kewl!

Love the rubber spatulas
and the ice cream scoop

I do use my stones ALL THE TIME - I have one that is ten years old and still works great (it is definately smooth now though - lol)

Hey, funny thing. I'm going to a pampered Chef party Thursday at noon. Haven't been to one in about a couple of years. Appreciate the time too -- being at noon.

I'm probably going to get my first stone -- a stone baking pan.

Usually some of the kitchen stuff I may pass cuz I could get it so much cheaper at the local stores.
