What are some of your favorite items? It has been 6 years since I have been to one. I have one of the stones but it never got real smooth like they are supposed to. It freaks me out touching it so I dont know if I would get another one. But I love kitchen stuff so what else could I check out? :)

I like the self sharpening paring knives. I also like the microwave steamer for my vegetables. If I get invited to another show, I will probably buy the drink pitcher that has the stirrer built into the lid.

My 1 favorite item is the rubber spatula like you scrape a bowl out with-think scraping cake batter out. I've had mine for maybe 8 years and it has withstood the test of time. Theres lots of PC I think I'd like but so much of it is so expensive. Have fun.

I agree, their rubber spatulas are fantastic, as is the breadknife. I've had mine for many years and they are still my favorites. They have a lot of great stuff.

I absolutely LOVE my pizza stone. It is very seasoned! Very smooth..not the original color (It is not supposed to be...)
I put pizza on it, rolls, cookies, etc... Great investment for me.

Also, I just LOVE those 1.00 (I think) little knives..SO useful and sharp!

Like my apple cutter and peelers too!

Well, I just ordered an apple corer and a pie crust guard today. (I've lost a crust guard somewhere over the years and I hate messing with foil.) Can you tell it's getting to be autumn? DH loves apple pies.

The white measuring spoons are the best. I use them daily and all you need is the one spoon for all of the measurments.

I love my bar pan. I use it for making everything from garlic bread to french fries and my favorite...a double batch of brownies. It's the perfect size for making them.

I like that chopper thing, but can't remember what it's called.

I've still never bought a stone, although I really want one.

Dear, dvcfamily41801
Have you been washing your stone? They are like Iron. Do not wash in soap and water this takes the surface off. The dishwasher is a BIG no no. I love my stones, self sharping knives, and the spatulas.

I like the measuring spoons, the $1 paring knives, and the little spatulas. I also like the melon baller/cookie dough scooper thing. I know it has another name, but I love it to make cookie dough and mini-muffins--in the Pampered Chef mini-muffin tin.

I LOVE their fly swatter, well as much as you can actually love a fly swatter. It has a little dust pan and even tweezers in the handle to pick up the dead flies. The family skillet with glass lid is very nice, but on the pricey side. They have nice cutting boards too, but I think you can get the same ones other places. I also like the big pizza cutter. The handle doesn't get hot.

Oh yeah, that's another one of my favorites...the cookie dough scooper thing. I use it for cupcakes, too.

Never been to one of their parties but a friend gave me one of the pizza stones. Not that I'm a *super wuss* or anything, but those things are heavy....and awkward. I usually have cuts on my hands from working with glass, so they're sore a lot. But hey....how are you supposed to handle that thing???? :earseek: No handles (at least on mine) to reach down and pull it up out of the oven. I finally just packed the thing away but I'll admit I did like the crust on pizza better with the stone than a conventional metal pan.

As far as I know, I have never washed my stone. I do remember that being a big deal at the very frist party I went to LOL. The one the hostess had was so smooth, and mine is still all rough. We use it a lot, but it just skeeves me out LOL.

I forgot, I have 2 of those pitchers as well. They are great. I remember I got that right after my son was born I used to make the formula in it. :)

They make a wire holder thing that's nice because you can turn it upside down and put the stone on when serve pizza at the table. I usually just use a pot holder to get the pizza stone out of the oven--it's no problem.

I got some great kitchen knives awhile back. I am always hearing about how great the pizza stone thingies are, but we never have pizza (not even take out..shock horror!!) so it would be a tad redundant in our kitchen..though I am sure you could probably use them for other things. The garlic press is great too.

I LOVE my stones from PC. I made bacon on it right away and it's been perfectly seasoned ever since. My DH does the dishes at our house and he constantly wants to wash it with soap. I'm always reminding him! Those $1 paring knives are the best, I have about 6 and when I go to a party I always buy a couple to give away to family. Their bread knife is really nice and we use that a lot as well. I have the pink pitcher from breast cancer awareness month and it has the stirrer in it. The kids don't mind making tea in that one so it's all good!!!

My favorites are the pizza stone, garlic press, and ice cream scoop

My favorite is the drink picture. Works great for my crystal light. I also had one that I used for similac when DD was little but I got that one through One Step Ahead. I was so happy to see that Pampered Chef had one and it's much better!

I also like the self sharpening knifes. They are great.
