My DH and I are hoping to get a reservation on this cruise and was wondering how long the dining experience takes. We were wondering about how long to put the children in the clubs. Also, for you Palo experts...which do you prefer early or late reservations. I may be asking a moot question since I have read the reservations are hard to get and we will most likely get what they have open. Thanks in advance!

Plan on at least an hour to two hours...it is like any fine dining experience in any upscale restaurant...only much more food...lol.

We decided, because we had the late dinner seating that we would mix it up a bit and have an early seating at Palo..this worked out great for us...because on that day we happened to be hungry early.

Any time you go will be wonderful!

ps...from what I hear...it will be hard for you to keep your kids out of the kids clubs...they will want to stay there all the time...lol.

But you might want to do with a time when your kids are being fed at the club, that might cut down on the possiblity of being paged during dinner.

Depending on which cruise Palo is not that hard to get ressie for. But then again I am the determined one.:sunny:

I think our dinner at Palo took about an hour and a half. We had an 8:00 reservation if I remember correctly, and I was wishing we would have gone earlier, when it was still light outside. We had a window seat, but it was dark so couldn't really see anything of the view. Next time I would go earlier.
