Palo Reservations Onboard

Does anyone know how difficult it is to get Palo reservations after you board the ship? I have tried to make them online for our July 23 West Coast trip, but have been unsuccessful. I assume everything available through online reservations has been taken already. Can anyone give me any advice? Thanks!

Mary, several posters to this board have explained that they do hold some space out for on-board booking. We had no trouble booking on-board for our two cruises (both were pre website reservations), but you should get to the booking area as soon as possible.

Another option, if all dinner reservations are indeed taken, is a brunch or high tea. Good luck.

I was told by DCL that some tables were kept open for cruiser to book when getting onboard. So the chances are good that you will have it. Unlike me who starts count down for the 75 days prior to cruise and then count down to cruise itself.

Another consideration for Palo booking onboard is to do Palo on the very first night. This is typically the slowest day for reservations, regardless of the length of the cruise.

Our family was announced when we boarded, a CM came up to us & asked if this was our 1st cruise & if we wanted to make reservations for Palo. He led us to the Rocking D bar to book a time. This was pre online booking.
