Can you make reservations at Palos before you sail?
What do all the initials stand for? CM, KTTW, DH ect....

Thanks:crazy:

No ressies beforehand unless you are staying in a concierge suite, and I think you can to it with the Romance packages. Other than that, you'll have to do the onboard "ressie scramble."

Thanks for the help ! I will check out the REAS.
Will the dinner rotation be on the paperwork I receive in the mail?

No, the dinner rotation will not be on the paperwork you receive in the mail.
Should you purchase the REAS, you can find out what rotation you have and can change it.
What cruise are you going on (3, 4, or 7) and how many in your party?
Obviously, the less time on the ship, the greater your odds against getting the reservations you want using the ressie scramble.
The general rule of thumb about the rotations are (per page 95 of the current Passporter):
All adults - Lumiere's/Triton, Animators Palate, Parrot Cay...
With Young children - A,P,L/T
With older children - P, L/T, A
If you are doing a 3 day land, 4 day sea package, despite the fact that their brochure clearly says you can purchase the REAS, some posters including myself had trouble being 'allowed' to do so. I fought them and got it added. Some believe that the REAS is getting too popular and Disney is trying what they can to cut down on the advanced ressies. Despite being 28 days out from my cruise, and the cruise not being sold out, I was unable to get a Spa reservation for the day at sea (unless I wanted 8AM or 5PM).
Good luck!

What would the kids ages have to be for them to be considered either "younger" or "older" I have two DD's that will be 12 and 10. Wondering what our rotation might be on a 7 day (we are early seating)

That would be older kids.
I believe its usually based on the same ages as the Oceaneer Club/Lab. 7 or Below, younger, 8 or above, older.
Therefore your rotation will likely be P,T,A,P,T,A,P.

We will be on the May 22 western caribbean. My DD is 5, so I guess we will be in the younger group. Thanks for the info.
