Palo Question

First, I apologize if this is a repeat question.

My parents are coming on our vacation this summer. Their first Disney Cruise and our second. I want them to experience all the dining rooms since they each have a special feel.

Having never "done" Palo, I was wondering if it is possible to just go and have desert instead of a full dinner? We will be on the cruise for my brithday and I thought this might be a nice way to celebrate.

Thanks
Sandy

Good question....I would like to know that too! I heard that the dessert at Palo's is great.

First - there are no new questions on the disboards - just the same ones asked in new ways! lol We Disney nuts just love rehashing our glory days on the ships, so ask away!! :)

I have heard that you can sit at the bar and order just desert. We never miss Palo dinner, and on our last cruise (a 4 day) we did the brunch, which might just even be a little bit better!

Have fun on your cruise!

You may want to try the afternoon tea. Besides finger sandwiches they serve several different types of sweets (I especially remember the eclairs).

We were just at Palo's on Wednsday and when we were leaving we did see a few people sitting at the bar having wine and desert. So I believe you can:D

I would book the brunch. It is fabulous, you get a nice view out of the windows, the same excellent service, and you can still enjoy your meals in the dining rooms at night.

:sunny:

Don't miss Palos. The food is too good!! There were people having a drink at the bar. But other people on our cruise had a wonderful time at brunch. I don't think it is as popular as dinner (yet!). so you shouldn't have problem getting a reservation.
