Palo Meal question

Can you order more than one entree and dessert if you want to try more than one? We tend not to eat lunch during cruises, due to activitie as, and dinner is always our big meal. I have found portions to be small, at least on RCCL, and I read on here that Palo portions are small. I figured since you pay extra they might have different rules than the regular dining room, where you can order double.

Thanks
Judy

Sorry about all the question but this is our first DCL

You most absolutely can...You probably will get it even if you don't.. :goodvibes The waiters in Palo are absolutely amazing for this. Our table was so full of every type of entree, main meal, desert it was unbelievable..There is no extra charge, just remember when you tip. ::yes:: ..

Don't be sorry about any questions, we all started like you...

You can also order more than one entree in the main dining rooms. :goodvibes

May I suggest you don't order a second entree. You will be so stuffed from all the food at Palo, you won't be able to move. They bring out so much stuff that you haven't ordered, "here, try this, try this..." God knows how many appetizers our server brought out, and 3 or 4 different desserts. Yummy! It was all so good, but I could barely walk out of there! Enjoy!

I agree with Tarabra...you are stuffed when you leave there. We enjoy brunch and last February I didn't even get an entree...saved room for dessert :)

As most people have already said, the servers, especially at Palo, do an excellent job of bringing out a variety of items that you didn't order. However, they tend to bring out the things that they like, so if they don't bring out something that you specifically wanted to try, just ask. The dinner is excellent, and I have never found the portions on DCL to be small, except for a few of the appetizers, and Palo is no exception. The filet mignon is twice the size you'd normally get in a restaurant, unless you order the big'un. As much as I love dinner at Palo, I think I love the brunch even more! There is such a variety of food at the different buffets, as well as some great menu items available if you're not keen on buffets.

We also did high tea at Palo this trip. It was ok, but we'll probably just stick to brunch and dinner next time. ::yes::

Does anyone have a link to a Palo menu?

I have ressies for my Jan 15th Wonder Cruise, starting to get excited about my meal!!!

Thanks!

Since DD is too young to enjoy Palo, and being the Great Mother that I am, I usually order a pizza and souffle for her and I take them back to the stateroom for her to enjoy!

Or is it that DD is great at Guilt Trips! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I too would like to hear about the brunch selection at Palo's since this seems to be what we are most interested in doing. Also what time do they start serving brunch? Thanks

I don't know who would think that the portions at Palo are small. The filets that our table got last month were the largest that we had ever seen. Marco brought us additional entrees and apps to try. Of course, our table looked like a private desert buffet after all that. :)
