Palo information on the Wonder

I need any advice I can get on Palo's. I've been searching the boards and getting a lot of great info but have a few specific questions. We are going on the 4-day Wonder November 24-28. We did the 3-day Wonder a couple years ago. This cruise my husband and I would like to try Palo's. We are driving to the terminal so we can get there early and get reservations right away.

1) What time do they start taking ressies at Palo's?
2) What is the best day on a 4-day to eat there?
3) Do they have High Tea or the Champagne Brunch or is that just on the 7-day cruises.

They do not have High Tea or the Champagne Brunch on the 3 or 4 day cruises, only on the 7 day.

The 'best' day is up to your personal choice. Many people like to take one of the days that they have a repeat restaurant to eat at Palo's. Some people don't like one of the standard restaurants for a particular reason and would rather go to Palo's that night.

My choice: any night that I can get a reservation for.

They usually start taking reservations about 1:30, but it will be listed in your daily navigator. If they don't offer one at the checkin counter, I always ask for one. If you have a Land / Sea package, I'd ask for one at my earliest opportunity, even if I had to stand in a checkin line.

On the 3 day(I assume the 4 day is the same) in July, the navigator stated reservations were taken at Wavebands at 1:30. Since this was top priority for us I was sure to be there at 1:00(we didnt eat at the buffet. Just went right to our room to check it out and then to WBs). We were first in line, but other people came soon after us. They actually started taking reservations at about 1:15.
We picked our night in Nassau because that was the night we were scheduled for Animators Pallet and I wasnt very impressed with that restaurant on our previous cruise. Like the above poster said, its a matter of personal preference. If the food doesnt matter you can pick it for a day when you would like the view, whether you prefer to be sailing or at Nassau while at Palos. Good luck!

Thanks for the info...does anyone know if there is a group that rotates to Triton's twice and has anyone had luck requesting that rotation? Thanks again!!!

The Champagne Brunch and High Tea are on the 7 day. We went to Palos on our 3 day this past June, but can't WAIT for the brunch and High Tea on the 7 day next September!
