Other than the chocolate souffle, what was the best dish you've had at Palo: Either Dinner or Brunch ?
Are there any other out of this world desserts for a die hard chocoholic ?:hyper:

I had a salmon dish over a risotto that was soooo good. I am hoping it will be available on our next cruise in April 2005.

By far my fav is on the brunch menu!

I order the orechette pasta dish and then go to the buffet table and get a good hunk of Boursin cheese (garlic flavor) and crumble it over the top!!

TO DIE FOR!!!! IMHO

The Rack of Lamb!!! It is to die for. I am not a lamb eater so I ordered the Filet Mignon and dh ordered the Rack of Lamb. I tried it and kicked myself for not ordering it. Well, we were lucky enough to eat a second time at Palo and I ordered the Rack of Lamb. In fact, I loved it so much I came home and concocted a recipe very similar to it. Not being a chocoholic I do have to say the Chocolate Souffle is pretty good.

The tuna steak at dinner was amazing, and my dh said the filet mignon was the best he'd ever had.

At brunch, the shrimp were just out of this world, and the cheese table left me speechless. I also really enjoyed the Eggs Julia (I think that's what it was called) at brunch. It was eggs benedict but with smoked salmon instead of ham/canadian bacon. Since I'm not a pork eater, I was very excited to see a different (and yummy) take on the dish.

I had the Portabello mushroom and polenta appetizer 2 years ago when we did Palo and my tastebuds were screaming with each bite!!! I thought it was to die for!!!:D

The sweet pizza..yummy.

Hubby loves the fresh parm and procuitto they bring to the table with the olive assortment.

The cappucino dessert..looks like a coffee cup..it is excellent.

If you like mushrooms.....Heaven on a plate! Best thing I ate all cruise!

Another vote for the tuna - just AMAZING - and the beef tenderloin at brunch was fabulous as well.

I LOVE the whole brunch set up - all those delicious cheeses! :)

Gotta agree with RonnieJo .... the orechette pasta dish at brunch .... delicious!!!!!! Actually i loved the entire brunch ... that is a definite repeat for me!

I loved the pistacho torte. A lot like a Linzer with berry compote. I have been thinking about it for the last year. They also give you this great "cookie" with a latte. Kind of like a heavy slice of marzipan.

They had stone crab at brunch, love that stuff. They will bring butter for the crab, it is not on the buffet tables. I thought all the salads were great, especially one that was made with fennel.
