Palo: dinner or brunch?

Love both! If it's in the budget I would recommend going to both if not I'm sure you will enjoy either one.

For us it is Brunch all the way, we like the food options better and the slightly more relaxed atmosphere than dinner. For us the dinner was underwhelming and we actually missed the MDR. In our 12 cruises we have only not eaten in the MDR once, not sure why, but we just enjoy the MDR atmosphere.

Yeah, even after 11 cruises, I'm not tired of the MDRs enough to give Cabanas a try for dinner one night. But I'm hoping.....

Our very first cruise we did Palo dinner. I really wasn't impressed. Mostly because I'm not a "fancy Italian food" person. My husband liked it (the food). Since they we've mostly done brunch - I love it and my husband mostly does, but he's not much into "fancy" dining service (hovering waiters and all).

Since they changed the Palo dinner menu about a year ago, we gave dinner another try. I like this menu better, but brunch is still my favorite. Haven't done brunch since they changed the format (menu instead of ordering from food displays), but it's coming.

Happy Anniversary! The first time we went to Palo was for brunch, it was Easter Sunday and my DH's 50th. We loved it. He loved it so much, he ask, "they do dinner to let's come back". We had a fantastic dinner two nights later. We have been back on 3 occassions for dinner, shorter cruises do not have brunch. So we are excited to finally get back to the brunch this October.

If your loved to eat and pick, choose brunch. If you have the time and $$, do both! Dinner is more romantic.

We cannot seem to get a brunch booked. After booking a dinner, we decided to do the brunch as well. However, it would not allow us to book a table saying our party of 2 was too large. Is there any chance that there could be some available when we board the ship (do they keep any openings for this)?

I consider Palo as one of my favorite restaurants in the world. DINNER!!! Although I really dont love the newer menu as much as the old one.
We ate twice at Palo and the 2nd time the staff made all of our order from the original menu, that kind of service is unbelievable.

That being said go to both brunch and dinner ; )
