We have decided to have dinner at Palo on Thursday night because that is my husband's birthday. It's just the two of us going and we figure we will be LAP rotation. This means we woud be missing Parrot Cay for the second rotation night and it's also the Captain's Gala night. Will we be missing anything special in the dining rooms for this night?

Also, I thought I had figured out that we would have bruch on Sunday morning before leaving the ship for Key West. My husband glanced at the buffet themes for each day in the Passporter and decided that he must not miss the "Italian" buffet. That just throws everything off. I understand that Palo only serves brunch on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Which of these days would you select for brunch based on port (or not) and other food choices.

Thanks!

My personal opinion is that the buffet is nothing special. I would NEVER opt for the buffet over Palo (or any other restaurant, for that matter), yummy-sounding theme or not.

Palo brunch was probably the best brunch I've ever been to. You can assure your husband that there is pa-lenty of Italian fare to be had there.

DH & I WILL be having brunch in Palos on Thurs Nov 13th. Thats my 46th birthday and I want to spend dinner with DS also.

Brunch is served on sea days. For the western that is Sunday (technically a half sea day) before docking in Key West, Monday & Thursday.
