We just had brunch at Palo on the Wonder 4 day cruise. We had 11:30 reservations and the restaurant was practically empty. I counted only 7 other tables with guest. Only 1 couple came in after us. We had the place to ourselves. We had one on one service from our waiter. It was excellent. I sent the kids to the club and we had a great time very relaxing. I was first in line to make reservations. They let starting taking reservations about 12:50.
I would definitely recommend it. I don't know if it was just our cruise our but, is brunch always less crowed?

Thanks for the heads up! We are considering doing a brunch rather than a dinner because family meals are important to us and we want to eat with our DS. Brunch would be perfect though!

Our brunch was practically empty as well. We were on the wait list for ressies, too. I wonder if a lot of people end up cancelling for one reason or another.

It was definitely worth it!

They do a Palo brunch on the Wonder now? On out last cruise in 5/02 they just had the dinners. How does the brunch compare? Is the food really different? Is it worth trying to do both dinner and brunch? Is the brunch every day?

They offer a brunch on the at sea day for the 4 day wonder.
Navigator states"Champange Brunch 10:00 am - 12:00 pm $10 per person Guest 18 and older."

The brunch is wonderful! And so is High Tea. I would recommend brunch, tea and dinner at Palo :)

Right after we entered the ship, we were met by a CM asking if this was our first cruise & did we want ressies for Palo? Yes & yes for brunch. He said "follow me." :cool1: He quickly led us to Rocking Bar D where they were taking ressies for dinner, & a seperate line for brunch. Then my sister found us & we made High tea ressis also. :goodvibes Our only mistake was doing both on the same day. Too much food but, wonderful. Both times Palo didn't seem very busy. The brunch is definately worth the surcharge.

We are going on our first cruise in Jan 4 (4 day). Is Flounder's Nursery open during dinner, brunch, or high tea at Palo's? From all I've read about how good Palo's is I don't want to miss it. We have twin DD who will be 2 when we cruise. Thanks.

Oh my gosh, we were at that same brunch! :) We were the first couple, to the left, as you walk into the restaurant. I wish I knew you were there! I kept commenting to my DH that the place was empty. But I never would have known about the brunch if it weren't for the Dis. It was very good. We ate ourselves silly.

We were a group of 4 my DH, my mother and MIL. We sat to the left just as you walk in. There was a couple just finishing up when we got there. The man was facing me and had black hair. Was that you?

No, I was facing the people, my DH was facing the entrance. I think I remember your group though! :)
