Hi, Was wondering what night I should book Palo's? I have kids so we would feed them. I am assuming they will not be in the clubs...so we would do the 6:00 dinner seating and then Palo's for us. :)

Any suggestions? Kathy Krolik

I recommend that you look over the dinner menus at the three main dining rooms and decide which you would be the least sorry to miss.

In my case on my last cruise, I chose to skip dinner at Parrot Cay (although I did have lunch there, and breakfast) when it came up in my rotation, and went to Palo's.

IMO, especially if you're a big Disneyholic like most of us are, don't miss Animator's Palate....the black and white to color "show" is EXTREMELY cool.

You may also want to consider the dress code (such as it is), and go on your Triton's night. This way, you still only have to "dress up" once.

And it goes without saying that you have to get the chocolate souflee....yum.

When we went on our 3day...we skipped Triton's....because i thought we would be giving up one formal night for another. I wish we had skipped Animator's Palate though....I did not like the food there at all and the show was not all that i expected. As it turned out, Triton's was our first night so that is when we went to Palo. My DH was not feeling well so he didn't enjoy Palo. After the first night he felt fine so I really wish we had waited and done Palo the 2nd or 3rd night.

You should check the shows you want to see. The show on the last night is the best so you don't want to miss that.

What I would do is check the dinner rotation and the shows and schedule around that. The best in my case was going the night of parrot cay and missing the first show. I like AP and Tritons and the last show so I schedule around that.

Whichever you choose, remember that there are just as many people looking to book Palo on the 3 night as the 7 night so reservations fill up quickly. On our 3 nighter in February, we arrived and stood in line only to be turned away. They did place us on a list to call if there were cancellations but nothing opened up.

Ok, from this I am wondering....is your formal night on the night that you are eating in Triton's? so, people have theri fromal nights on different nights...is this correct? OR is there just one formal night, no matter which restuarnat you are at?

"Formal night" is a tad strong. They ask that you dress up a *little* more at Triton's (Lumiere's on the Magic) than at Animator's Palate or Parrot Cay....jackets for the men, no jeans, etc. (I still ain't wearin' no tie, though!)

Palo has the same suggestion for dress...so if you substitute Palo for your Triton night, you don't have to dress "up" twice. Then again, you may WANT to dress up all three nights!
