Palo and THAT dessert

I just got back from my second cruise on the Magic. We did go to Palo again and did enjoy the souffle, but I think the Chocoloate Lava Cake on the semi-formal night menu is just about as good (it is richer), so I'd settle for either. I actually changed my Palo reservation because it was scheduled for the semi-formal night and I didn't want to miss the Lava cake.

Yes that chocolate lava cake was just as good as the souffle.
One problem with just getting dessert at the Palo bar... I love the appetizer that is a portobello mushroom served on polenta. Hum...maybe I could get that at the bar too!

Well, if no one states whether you can get appetizers at the bar as well by my cruise in January, I plan on giving this a try. That "Pics of DCL Food" thread has me drooling over the calamari appetizer so I think I'll sneak up to Palo and get 3 of each! ;)

DD8 is dying to try soufle as well since she knows it's one of my all-time favorite foods. Since the only soufle served in the normal dining rooms is Grand Marnier soufle (which I am also dying for), she won't get to try it unless I can get her the chocolate one from Palo bar. I am on a mission! :goodvibes

Ditto on the lava cake!

The best I've had at Palo is their PIZZA. . . don't pass it up!
