I am really trying to talk DH into going to palo one night ( perferably the master chef night as I dislike that menu) he thinks it is mean to make our son eat in the kids club. SO I was thinking we could feed him first from like Plutos or room service and then put him into the club when something fun is going on. How do you all work it? And how difficult is it to get reservations for the time you want? It is hard to believe this is our third disney cruise and we have yet to see palo.
Ps- is it really that great?

Which night is it on the western that is the master chef series? Thanks

Ann,
We are wondering the same thing. The last time on Dis we didn't do Palo's, but this time I would like to at least hit the brunch! I am assuming we will send ds to Pluto's and then to the club. I know some have said their children go ahead and eat in the dining room, but I know my ds wouldn't do that on his own!
I believe the Master Chef's menu is the second semi-formal night which is Thursday??? Not sure on this though so somebody correct me if I am wrong.

Ann YES, it is really that great, GO! And you most definitely should do the BRUNCH too, I actually like that even better than the dinner as it is wonderful to see Palo in the daylight, and the brunch is full of amazing food.

My daughter LOVES eating in the club, they take them to their own kids buffet and she really enjoys that. If you don't want to do that you can definitely feed your son with room service or at one of the fast food places on Deck 9 before checking him in to the club. The kids are usually done eating by 6:30 or so, so be sure you have a later Palo reservations (he can't check in while they're eating).

Our 4 yr old son also LOVES eating in the kids' club. The last few days of the cruise, it became a fight to get him to come to dinner with us at night. They take all the kids to one of the restaurants, or Topsiders, that's open JUST for them. The CMs help get them situated with the food from the buffet they want and they play some games, etc. It's a lot of fun for them. I wouldn't feel guilty about leaving them in the club while you enjoy Palos. It's your vacation too, and you should enjoy yourselves. I'm not if favor of "dumping" your kids off somewhere, but, if they enjoy the kids club, they'll also enjoy the meals in the club. So, it's not like you're leaving them with that "crazy old aunt that smells bad and makes them eat liver and onions". They're in good hands and will enjoy themselves too. As always . . . just my opinion!!
