Palm Pre plus or Droid?

Any opinions. Im going to go get a new phone tonight, do you have either? What do you think?

The only phone I would consider would be running the Android OS so the Droid. Palm is currently in the process of looking for a buyer and while I think they will be bought I wouldn't invest in a platform with such an uncertain road map.

I understand whot PP is saying about the OS. I really wanted to make the jump to Android but Verizon only has 3 phones that run it & I didn't really like any of them (or their price tag). I personally liked the feel of the Devour better than the Droid but not $150 liked it.

I think alot depends on what you want the phone to do. Mine is strictly for personal use & I have no need to run multiple aps simultaneously. I wanted to sync my Google calendar & Outlook, web browse & text with an actual qwerty (not virtual/touch).

When I bought my first DSLR & trying to decide between Nikon & Canon, people kept telling me to "pick whatever feels best in your hands". I got a Nikon & couldn't be happier. I did the same thing here and again, am very happy with my choice.

Go with your gut & pick whichever one you like better, regardless of what the critics say.
