So, if considering a move to the above area but in need of good public schools, where should we focus in on areas? I'm also considering catholic schools but would love referrals .

Thanks much. ok to pm me

My family owns a real estate firm in the area.. if you need help finding a home in a good school district, feel free to PM me

Hi,

I live in Northern PB County and work for the School District. The county is very large so where you are working would affect your decision. However the school district can be accessed at Palmbeachschools.org There is lots of information on individual schools and the district as a whole there. Also if you go to the state
in the New York Times on line there is a report card comparing the schools in Florida in general. For private schools, it really depends on what you are looking for. There are some very good ones available, however be prepared to be sticker shocked. You can end up paying up to 18,000 per year for a top notch private elementary level school. There are also religous based and cheaper private schools. It all depends on what you want. Generally some of the areas considered better are in Northern and Southern areas of Palm Beach County. Jupiter,Boca Raton, Palm Beach or Palm Beach Gardens are all areas you should review. For a local paper check out the Palm Beach Post.com
Good luck in your move and Welcome to Palm Beach County!

We live in Boca Raton and love our public schools! We also have at least 2, probably more, Catholic schools and several christian, Jewish & traditional private schools. We are at the very southern end of Palm Beach County though, so if you are going to work up north it could take you up to 45 minutes to get there.

I can recommend St. Joan of Arc in Boca.

I don't think tuition is that high at St. Joan of Arc. I teach at a Catholic high school in PBC. If you have any questions about the catholic schools, email me and I will get answers for you. What grades are your children in?
