Palisades Resort Supplies?

We will be staying at the Palisades Resort - Lake Austin next month, where it is relatively new there are not that many reviews. However, a few of the reviews I have seen have mentioned that they had to buy soap, dish soap, TP, etc. I understand that without housekeeping these will not be restocked daily, but does anyone know if there are any "starter" supplies upon arriving. We have never stayed at a resort where there is not a soap/shampoo provided for the guest, as well as a small bottle of dish soap. Thanks for your help.

Hi, I would guess that this unit will be similar to most of the other hundreds of condos and homes that rent by the week...only very basic supplies like a tiny bar of soap and one roll of tpaper will be there. With luck you may inherit some dish soap, paper towels, tp from previous guests, but cleaning folks usually will take what works for them at home.
We always stuff the suitcase with 2 bars of favorite soap, a baggie with a dozen or so dryer sheets, bottle of shampoo, disposable razors, even small jug of good laundry detergent.
Enjoy the trip...I think you will enjoy the room, the privacy and the convenience of a condo or home instead of hotel room...

stayed there last month. travel size shampoo, lotion and soap bars in the bathrooms, one single size auto dishwasher package, tp in each bathroom and partial roll of paper towel in kitchen (from prior guest i am sure because it was high quality)
all in all we liked it. make sure to take advantage of the theatre room!
