We just had dinner at Palios on Monday the 28th. There were 8 of us all adults, and we all loved the place. The dinners were all very very good and not terribly expensive. The only slight knock I would have is the the portions are a little small. Over all a great place and I would surely go back again!

Glad you enjoyed it. Dh and I love Palio's and it's on our 'must do' list now. It's a wonderful Italian restaurant at The Swan. The service, the food, the strolling musicians ........it is all wonderful.
And for wine lovers, they have a nice wine list.

Glad you enjoyed Palios...
It's been on our "can't miss" list since we discovered it about 4 years ago!
Were the 2 strolling musicians there? Those gentlemen can play almost anything....we even heard them play the theme from Star Wars upon request from a child. It was great! :D

Glad to hear the favorable post. It's been a while since we've been to Palio's but we liked it. You didn't feel rushed or cramped and they have a more extensive menu than Alfredo's. Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the review Mickeymark. DH and I will be having our 28th anniversary dinner there in October and it will be our first time eating there. Wheww! you've put my mind at rest.

Could anyone tell me if Palios is a casual dining place? Are shorts and t-shirts considered appropriate attire? My husband and I are staying at the Swan in September and are considering Palios.

Thanks!

I believe the dress is resort casual, similar to other WDW sitdown restaurants. When we were ther las month there was a variety of attire and ages. It was an excellent meal with wonderful service. I think this is one of the best kept dining secrets.

While it is 'resort casual', its quite a bit more formal. You will not feel out of place dressed nicely. Palios and Gulivers are both great places. We found Gulivers with that $50 off cupon that there was so much flak about in Rita's book. Since then we have been back many times and also found Palio's and a few other great places to eat over at the Swan and Dolphin.
