Have not tried Palio's yet. Considering adding this for our next trip. Anyone been recently? If so, what is your opinion?
Thanks,
Robert

We love Palio!!! It's our favorite dinner restaurant! The atmosphere is very nice, including the strolling musicians. The food is fantastic! And, the prices are not too outrageous. If you have a DC card, you get 20% off your entire bill!

DH and I went there for his D-day last October, and it was excellent. We both enjoyed our food, and the musicians as well.
This restaurant has a very different atmosphere from others at WDW... more sophisticated and European, I guess. Definitely worth giving it a try.

Loved it, three thumbs up from this family. Our waiter was a little stuffy to begin with but loosened up after a bit. Highly recommended

Regretfully I can't suggest it.

In 1997 we ate there and had an incredibly fantastic meal...the food and service were both excellent.

In 1998 we had a terrible experience with a really bad server and mediocre food.

In 2001 we decided to give it another try. After bringing our food, our server disappeared for over half an hour--and never brought the requested extra sauce for the dry chicken parm. The food was lackluster.

We decided that we'd scratch it off the list, and we won't go back.

very nice.......good quality, excellent service and slower paced...there is another 20% discount with the dvc membership or ap (can remember....used it xmas 02)

We like it too. A somewhat "upscale" place, adult friendly and by WDW standards, a quiet, romantic spot.
Hint: If you go, and if the strolling muscians come by and take a request, try to "challange" them. I understand from good sources that 2 out of 3 requests they get are for Disney tunes, and they really like to play other songs. I hit them with "Isle of Capri" last time--and they knew it!!

June of 2002 we were in Disney with two other couples and had a wonderful dinner at Palios. We were celebrating my brother and sister-in-laws birthdays. They sat us way in the back (sort of like a private room). We had excellent service, delicious food and also enjoyed the strolling musicians. One of the songs they played for us was Time To Say Goodbye and it was beautiful!!!!!!!!

My last dinner there was so recent it was literally hours ago!

Please have dinner here. The food is fantastic, the staff is very friendly and accomodating, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We are staying at the Swan and took a chance and just walked in at 8:30. We were seated immediately. We had one minor "problem", which we didn't even realize was a "problem" happening (DS's pizza wasn't ready with our meals), and the manager came over and apologized profusely, telling us what had happened, insisting later that we all have dessert on the house. We weren't expecting anything since we didn't think it was that big of a deal. His pizza arrived about 3 minutes after our dinners.

The veal was fantastic, the creme brulee out of this world. They have an extensive wine list which I would like to peruse again. We're debating cancelling tomorrow's PSs in the MK area and dining at Palio again.:)
