Palio

Has anyone been to Palio at the Swan? I'm trying to decide where my husband and I should go for our one "expensive" night out. We're considering Palio or the Brown Derby, but I'm also thinking of trying to surprise him with V&A. Any recommendations? Thanks!

I havent tried palio but I would reccomend V&A's as the most romantic and expensive restaurant on property. Also if you choose here remember that men must wear jackets and ladies dresses or nice evening slacks.

We have been to Palio's on several occasions. Always had great meals. They have a great menu and very good service.

I've been to both Brown Derby and Palios and enjoyed both hugely. The food was great at both--the whole dining experience in general I thought was a little slower at Palios (they were actually so slow they gave us a complimentary dessert for waiting so long) but they did little showy things like giving you an initial cup of wine in little crocks and things.

I love the old-style Hollywood atmosphere in the Brown Derby, but I think the pace of the dinner is a little faster. I guess it depends whether the night is going to be mostly about the dinner, or part of the whole theme park jaunt.

Of course, I'd love to go to V&A, but that'll have to wait for a wealthier day...
