I havent yet read this entire thread, so I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet, but....

I have to say that I think this racism issue we have been seeing with this campaign has been greatly misinterpreted. I do not think that most republicans are racist, nor do I believe that most democrats are racist. However I DO think that there are ALOT of racist people in this country. I think there are alot of people in this country who are voting against Obama because he is black.

My parents are racist (in a passive aggressive manner). They are democrats-they believe in democratic policies. They are voting against Obama because they have stated that they do not want a black man running our country.

So, I think in this election we have really had 3 opposing and heated parties-the republican, the democrats, & the racists.

Ding Ding Ding -- we have a winner. And racists would also include AA who are voting for Obama just because he of his race.

Now, wait a cotton-picking minute. Is it actually possible to be both a socialist and a bona fide nazi? Because they're on opposite sides of the political spectrum. Or maybe the spectrum isn't actually a spectrum but an actual circle and at some point you become so far left that you're actually right or vice versa?

This might sound a little familiar in parts:

Honest opinion: America has been on a slide toward socialism for years. The next presidential election just determines how much faster we get there. Just my .02, not that it'll buy you much.

ACtually, there is a big difference in one sense only: no one ever lynched a "Tranny Hooker" (a disgusting phrase--I"m ashamed of the user). The implied threat to BO from some of this rhetoric is frightening. Real violence is a potential from some of the racist nuts in this country.

I think you are right. I've actually heard ALOT of men say that the Bible says a woman should not lead government. (I can't tell you what I told them back).
