Pal Mickey

Hi,
Can anyone tell us about the new Pal Mickey ? We are going down to WDW this Nov. with our geand-kids and this little guy sound to good to be true. Can anyone tell us if will be in the Disney stores or where we can get. We would like to know anything about it. or if you have tryed it out. We have see it on some of the Disney Sites.

We picked him up on Sunday and love him. At this time they are not available in the parks, only at some resorts. The price with tax comes to 50.00. I have seen some on ebay where you can buy now for 60.00, so it depends on if you want to wait to get it at disney or not.

We picked him up at the Boardwalk and as we were standing at the turnstiles to get in, he started saying that we were in Epcot. It was very cool. And as you are walking through the differant countries, he will talk about them. I did notice a few countries he missed. But that could have been our fault, he is supposed to be facing forward to pick up on the sensors and my DD may have been hugging him at the time. I also thought it was neat that as I approached Test Track, he started talking about the ride and the height requirements. As soon as I was off and walked out of the building he said something about if I wanted to ride again I could steer and he would work the peddles, so he knew I was off. Then I went to meet the family at the spriklers by Test Track and Pal Mickey knew I was at the sprinklers. The one thing DH was disappointed about was that it didn't seem to know that we left the park. Pal Mickey was just silent.

I would for sure recommend it. I can't wait to try him in the other parks. And with this technology, they can do almost anything with him.
