Pal Mickey?

Has anyone seen him at the resorts yet?
DVC Magazine said he would be out this month.

I'm going next week. I would really love to buy one.

I thought they were available for rental only? Can they be purchased? We plan on using one in May when we are there too.

When we were there the first week of April, they didn't have them yet. They said that the CM were just going to be trained on them in about a week. i wanted to try one out, but will have to wait till Christmas.

So - $8 a day to rent or $50 to buy? I have a feeling that the kids will get attached and we will need to buy.

I wonder if he works when he returns later in the year? We will purchase him in May and bring him "home" in August. Will he work then as well?

Who knows what the batter life would be like, so you might have to get him some new batteries - or, since they rent them, they may re-charge -

Do they have an on-off switch, or will a pal mickey keep trying to pick up wireless commands after your bring him home until the batteries die?
