I wonder if he works when he returns later in the year? We will purchase him in May and bring him "home" in August. Will he work then as well?

Who knows what the batter life would be like, so you might have to get him some new batteries - or, since they rent them, they may re-charge - Do they have an on-off switch, or will a pal mickey keep trying to pick up wireless commands after your bring him home until the batteries die?
