Pal Mickey ??

I didn't think it was a batteries thing because he played the hand game with my DD.

I bought DGD a Pal Mickey a couple of years ago and she still loves him. PM is going on his 4th vacation in March....he's held up really well. And yes his brain is in his nose..... and you have make sure he is facing the turnstile when passing through. This is where it activates the info for that park.

Two things. First - from what I understand, he is made louder these days. He's very loud if you are in a quiet spot, like waiting for a show to start (DS was having too much fun with him ALL the time!) but not too loud in the noise of the park. We would just hold him up to our ears as we walked and we heard him fine.

When you are standing in a quiet spot around other people, does anyone around you get annoyed at pal mickey talking? I guess I wouldn't care, just curious though. My son really wants one this trip and he is 11.

I just made sure that my kids didn't activate him when we were in situations like this. If he did start talking, I just told everyone he would stop talking shortly, and that seemed to satisfy everyone. I accidentally activated him in the Tiki Room, but I apologized to everyone and hid him under my shirt!

I think that you could do this a few years back, but now he's only to purchase. If you want an inexpensive PM, try ebay.

Thanks. I am wondering from what I read, has he been updated lately? I saw some on ebay but I don't know if they are current or anything. I really don't know anything about PM except for what I read here today. I guess I would rather just buy a new one that I know is clean and works great

IMHO, he's worth every penny if you paid full price. In retrospect, I would have!
