Pal Mickey Swap May- June

CHANGES, please check your dates. Your start date should be a day you can pick up Mickey from the person before you, your end date the day you hand him off. I think it will go better if we do not hand off Mickey on travel days unless we need to. I sent most of you a PM

The first thread on a Pal Mickey swap has me dizzy. So I am starting a thread for a NEW May-June swap. So if you are interested PM me and I will try to get us organized... I will check my PM box at night and post updates here. Feel free to post your dates also, but please DO PM me!

It will be a no go if we cannot cover all dates. I do not feel comfortable leaving him alone.

Ground rules (feel free to suggest more, I am taking these off the first thread).
$2-$3 a day
No charge for babysitters
Pal Mickey will go to GKTW at the end of his run.
BYOB-Bring your own batteries
Hand off will be worked out between the people handing him off, hand off should be on WDW grounds unless both parties agree to another location.

May 18th to 24th OPEN but we do have a few babysitting offers. If we could find someone onsite from the 18th to the 22nd we would be in good shape here.

Someone PM-ed me about this but I would like to use Mickey sometime between May 26th and May 31st. I can meet with someone anytime on the 26th to get him then family comes in to town. I can transfer him to you Haley, on the 30th if you can tell me where you would like to meet. I would prefer a park since we will not have a car. I think my schedule at this point is to spend the morning at MGM that day and the afternoon at MK.

I will send this info to the coordinator as well.

tryin to figure out the easiest way to post this lol...we are seasonal ap holders so with the exception of our black out dates we go up every sunday and monday so if yall need a mickey sitter we would be able to pick him up and drop him off any sunday or monday untill June 12th if that makes any sense? so we could pick him up like on monday april 19th and drop him off sunday the 25th... any time like that untill june 6th-7th which would be our last weekend there untill august..although we do still spend alot of time in orlando just might not be at the parks..so if needed we might be able to do some time in june too

Okay guys here is where we stand.
We have Pal Mickey covered for all days. He may need to be left at a front desk or with luggage services for a few hours here ant there and possibly over one night. If everyone is okay with assuming a small risk that he could be lost I think we are good to go.
By my count we have 26 days of use, the rest are hand off days or days with babysitters.
Our costs are $60 for Mickey
$3.95 to mail him to GKTW
I was also thinking we could get a small waist bag/ fanny pack to use as his home. I looked at Walmart today and they have one that should work for around $6.
That works out to $2.70 a day, only paying for a day of use (not hand off days). If my math is right, someone please tell me if I am wrong.

There are two ways to handel the money as I see it- Everyone can mail or Paypal me and I can foward the money to the first person on the list, OR we can all foward our money to the first person. I prefer the first method, partly becasue I am not sure who will be first. It will either be dwardlaw or the person that asked for 3rd-8th if I hear from them soon.

I need everyone to

1) Check in that this plan sounds good and they still want in (post or PM)
2) Let me know how many days of use you have with Pal Mickey (so I can double check my count). If you will have use of Mickey for most of a hand off day please count that as a day of use.
3)contact the people you are handing off to and getting pal Mickey from to make sure that we don't run into any problems with that.
by PM or post.

I will give everyone to Monday night to check in with me, if we are all still in I will want money in a week from Monday.

Firemist- I have one more thing to check on with babysitters before you and I am right after you. So all I need is an answer to #1 and a days of use check in on #2 right now.

sounds great! thanks again for putting everything together harley. I will be on property on the 24 - 30. Leaving him at the front desk would make transfering a lot easier I think i'm getting him for 6 days? let me otherwise so i can paypal the right amount.
