Pal Mickey question......

We bought Pal Mickey a few years ago when he was new. Does he need to be "updated" somewhere in the parks? When we first bought him he did not work well. I had to take him on Main Street in the Cinema and he was placed on an electronic box and "zapped" him and then he worked.

We got our Pal Mickey this past January. The person at the counter told me that when we came back to the parks to make sure pal mickey had his nose facing out when coming into the park and it would "update" itself.

I agree with the other poster, he does update himself when you walk in the park... but if for some reason he doesn't any place at WDW that sells Pal Mickey will be happy to update him for you by again zapping him.

So how much is pal mickey going for now. last time i went it wasn't cheap.
