Pal Mickey Question

I brought Pal Mickey on our last vacation June 2004 and we are going back to Disney in November 2005 and i was just wondering will he work right away when i got to the parks as someone told me i need to get him reactivated or something? Also i have heard that they are bringing out clothes for Pal mickey does anyone know when?

We just bought our Pal Mickey a few weeks ago. I didn't read anything about reactivating him, although they did recommend turning him off at home when you aren't using him to save batteries.

Will Pal Mickey work at disneyland, too?

Our Pal Mickey made 4 trips this year and we didn't have to do anything to reactivate him. Just make sure his batteries are good and he is turned on.

As for the clothes, the CM's were saying that when the new one comes out, he is supposed to have clothes. No time frame though. I went to Build-a-bear and bought our Pal Mickey a pumpkin sweater for Halloween and a Santa suit for Christmas. It was big on him, but he got lots of attention.

I was thinking about getting a Pal Mickey on our trip this Feb. I have kids 9,5 and 2. Is he worth the price? Does he take a little kid abuse ok? What can he do when you are home? thanks

I bought him at MGM one day in December when my two kids were bickering (ages 10 and 5). I thought he might be a good distraction. Truthfully they only played with him a little. But I really love him. I was surprised, because I never thought he'd be worth carrying around.

He plays a few simple games at home. Not interesting to my kids. Your mileage may differ.
