We are planning a surprise NYE trip and would like to "announce" the trip with Pal Mickeys as Christmas gifts for our two DDs. A friend is going over Thanksgiving and will get them for us, just need to know how much moola to give her.
Thanks,
Michele

I believe they went up about one month ago to $60 each.

If search is up you can do a search and find the thread discussing the price increase. It was in the Theme Parks board.

Thanks for the info. My search did finally work...they are $60 and got lots of other info. They will make great gifts for my girls!!

Make sure you attach them to a layard or something. Kids get excited at WDW and may lay it down and walk away. It happened to us on Buzz. When we went back 5 minutes later it was gone and never found. I couldn't see shelling out another $50 at that point. Sad little boy, but learned a lesson. We got it the first day they were out. Actually had a picture taken of us buying it at OKW. Glad we have a picture at least!

I bought one on ebay for $29. I wanted to surprise my ds for our trip 1at week in December for his birthday. They had quite a few listed.

Niagra2, I'm so sorry you lost yours. It's really sad someone would do that knowing that it probably belonged to a child. And what a great example they are setting if they had kids with them! We are planning on putting them on straps of some kind, either bottle straps or lanyards. Thanks for the advice!!

I bought one shortly after they came out also. We do not have any small children.(mine are 28 and 26:eek: ) The bottle strap works great for me. I have read some posts in the past where a child left Pal Mickey in a stroller and the parents didn't see them do that and Mickey walked away never to be seen by that family.

What kind of sick animals would take a toy they saw lying around at DISNEY and not bring it to the lost and found, or to the ride attendant???

I am so sorry that that happened to you.
