We are sailing in about a week and both me and my brother have toddlers. Mine can (and does) sleep anywhere, but SIL is concerned about cleanliness of the bed and says the baby is used to his own pak n play. Will DCL allow them to tote their own on board? I personally think its silly(its their first kid, my fourth lol maybe thats why:confused3)thank you did I mention we sail next week!!!!!!!:banana:

They are more than welcome to take their own onboard if they want. Just check it in at the port with the rest of their luggage.

The PnP units DCL provides are very clean. They also provide clean sheets (IIRC infant/toddler sheets are laundered separately in Ivory Snow or some other 'baby' detergent). If she's really that nervous, how about instead of hauing a PnP with her, she just brings a few play yard sheets and put that on over the DCL sheet? If she wants to try and save space, the Graco TravelLite is 30% lighter and smaller in size than the regular PnP cribs.

My girls are 5 now so it has been a while but I recall that the Wonder and the Boardwalk had great cribs and pack n plays for us but no baby size blankets so remember to bring your own.

We brought our own pack and play. checked it in with the other luggage. our room steward pushed the bed against the wall so we had more room for it. The only thing is, you have to have your bags out by 11 the night before you leave the ship. Which means you have to carry the PNP with you the morning you debark.Wasn't a big deal, but something I didn't plan for.

She should do whatever she is comfortable with. No need for her to constantly be worrying about it. Hope that helps!

thank you, like I said its her first an she is kinda uptight about things, so if shes willing then go for it. me--I will just bring my own blankies and bring some wipes to wipe it down. no biggie.

We just cruised with our toddler. If you don't bring a quilted sheet, the pack and play surface is pretty hard. We folded up a Disney provided extra blanket and put the sheet over that. It worked out very well, basically providing extra padding.

The coffee table in the room plus the pack and play makes navigation around the room a chore. We got our coffee table removed by the second day and things were much better after that.

The room has a curtain, which separates the living space from the bed. It made for an easy way to say good night, close the curtain, and be able to read with a light on as we waited for our toddler to fall asleep. They are so tired, it was never more than a few minutes. I was afraid that even if they were tired but could see us, they would be less likely to go to sleep. My son went down and stayed asleep every night. We left the bathroom door open with the light on and that served as a decent night light. Otherwise it is pitch black in there.

You lucked out! When we saw the tight fit (even when using our own smaller TravelLite crib) we asked for the table to be removed. Our stateroom host said only ONE cabin per section/deck can have the table removed as they have limited storage areas. :)

As I walked to our room on the second day I saw a table against the hallway near our room. I thought someone had just taken it upon themselves to remove it, but it was our table. It sat there for the rest of the trip. If that is their storage, then I can see why only a few can do it.

We just got off of the Magic & used their pack & play's. They were just fine. We have twin boys, so we had 2!! We moved the table into the closet & that's where it stayed until we left.
