Painting with a View and Animation 101

Hi everyone.
I’m new to the DVC boards, my husband and I purchased our ‘home’ just this past March. We are excited that our first DVC stay is this September at the Beach Club Villas, as we have never stayed there. We are interested in the two classes, Painting with a view and Animation 101, I was wondering if anyone has taken these classes and could tell us about them?

Did painting with a view with my 21 year old daughter last March- we both had a great time - the food was great and it was a very relaxing experience - would do it again. They change the picture every month

We did the Animation Class in February and really enjoyed it, but note that it focuses on the basic processes for animating objects, not drawing Disney animation. This could be disappointing to someone that might be thinking that they are going to learn about drawing Disney Characters. We found it really interesting and walked away with a flip book of some simple animation. We also really enjoyed the snacks that were served. They served a fruit plate and a variety of cookies and mini-cupcakes along with coffee or a soft drink. There are a few more comprehensive reviews on this site and other sites if you do a search.

I am doing the painting class the first week of August and will let you know how this compares.

We enjoyed painting with a view. Also over the Fourth of July, my DS and DGD, aged 14, had fun doing the painting class at SSR.
