Paintball!!!! W00h00!!!

I'm sure even though I've only been here a few days most of you know that I'm some kind of Paintball fanatic. I figured it was time to start a topic. So...yeah. Post what kind of gear you have, war stories, if you like paintball, hate paintball, whatever. Just post.

Right now my current gun is a Spyder Victor II with a 14' Smart Parts Rifled barrel.

I think my best War story was the time I gave my friend Matt 5 welts on his butt. It started out just him and I throwing paint back and forth at each other. He was shooting pretty accurate for once. He was getting very close to shooting me. So i decided, screw it. I commited to a Kamakazi charge. I ran straight towards him shooting as I came. He just totally freaked out. He started screaming like a girl, and just turned tail and ran! Then I shot him 5 times in the butt. He couldn't sit down for the rest of the day.

But seriously, it's fun. I usually team up with my cousin and we dominate. Plus there is a "Bomb" option, so you can get like, 10 people out at once.

Oh..you mean like that Laser Tag Team Ops thingie? Yeah that looks pretty sweet. Never tried it though.

Heard of it, never been there. Isn't it all like, black-lit and stuff like that? Neon glowy things?

Yup. That's part of what makes it cool though. If you wear white, your a dead man. I found that out the hard way. I world like, all grey, and I light up like a lightbulp. Obviously I didn't do too well. Then next time we were there, I wore all black, and did MUCH better.

Thats not the worst part. In Laser Tag, you don't get knocked out like in paint ball. You just can't shoot for ten seconds. Well my cousin, who wants to go into the military, hasn't quite mastered laser tag.

We went in, and there were nine of us. Should have been three teams of three right? Well no. One team got four, another three, well me and my cousin drew the short stick, and us two ended up on a team together. We instantly looked at each other and said, "stick by each other". This way, we would stand a chance. Well, we go in, he goes left, I went right. About halfway through the game, I find him sitting on this balcony, trying to hit someone on the other side of the room. He wasn't hitting him, because he kept getting knocked out, and couldn't shoot. He thought the other guy was hitting him, which was stupid, because the other guy had his back to my cousin.

Now picture this, I'm freaking out. I don't know where my cousin is, so I decide to check the catwalk. As I'm running up the ramp, I see him sitting on the ramp, trying to shoot this other guy, and someone on a different team standing behind him, just racking up his score by knocking my cousin out. I swear I looked at him, we both looked at my cousin, looked back at each other, and shook our heads. I started to try to tell my cousin that the guy he was shooting at wasn't the guy knocking him out, but he kept blowing me off. I finally got fed up, and just grabbed him by the shirt, and hauled him up. I made him look directly at the guy killing him, and he got the blank look on his face. His only responce was, "oh".

I played for a long time. I use to work at a paintball store and I've played on a couple of different teams. I had a shocker and an autococker and I've just recently sold both. I still have a mini-cocker but I don't have the time to play anymore so it just collects dust.

Laser tag is better if you don't feel like making an event out of your day. Paintball you wake up early and spend pretty much the whole day at the field. Laser tag you can spend a couple of hours doing and you can be done.

All my freinds are nito paintball. i want to get one too but my parents wont let me spend any money on one because I have to save all my momeny for when i go to europe in july.

does any one know where i can get a name brand paintball gun for like less thatn $100 and isnt a peice of crap?
