Are the Paint the Night Made with Magic paintbrushes sold all over in the parks and what is the cost? Thanks!

I saw them all over the parks in July (not sure about now, but I would expect they still have them) and they were $25 (with tax).

Keep in mind you'll prob want the Mickey ears as well as the wand/brush. Both are about $25.

Unfortunately, not too many people have them.

All the Made with Magic items are $25 including tax.

The paint brush sends commands to change colors of other Made with Magic items. The paint brush also responds to commands and changes colors.
The paint brush plays a tune when sending commands, the wand functions the same without the sound.

Do the light up Mickey ears from WDW work with this as well, or will we need to purchase a new set of ears for DL?

A while back, I asked the opposite question: would my Glow with the Show Ears from DLR work at WDW. The answer was that they would work, so I would assume that means the WDW Glow with the Show Ears would work at DLR. I know the Paint Brush and Wand both work on the older Glow With the Show Ears that I have.

Watch out- they really get you with those! DD had to have the Minnie ears with the light up/glow bow-- then we were sitting and waiting for Fantasmic and discovered someone with the paint brush was making her bow change colors over and over--- so then she had to have the paint brush to go with the ears----- then, it is much more fun to have someone to have color changing wars with so then I had to have the ears and the paint brush too. ;) POOF-- there goes $100. I will say that we had tons of fun having paint brush wars changing each others colors, and as far as a souvenir, that one does get lots of play at home when DD's friends come over.

I'm pretty sure you will find them everywhere. If not everywhere, the large main stores in the parks will have them, like Emporium and whatever the one in CA that starts near the entrance is called.

I have the ears, wand and paint brush. The paint brush works way better than the want in my experience but the wand looks better in my opinion. You have to be much more precise when aiming the wand. All of the made with magic items (wand, ears, bow ears, gloves, brush) should be compatible across all Disney resorts world wide.

The Paint The Night brush will only change the colors of other brushes, ears, and other Made with Magic items.
it does NOT affect the parade floats, themselves, is that correct?

Thanks everyone! They are on my kids wish list for our October trip so they are both saving up money right now :)

How was your trip? Did you get these items? They are on our wish list too. I was just looking at the wand. I assume it does the same exact thing as the paintbrush. Thoughts on all of the gear?

I'm interested in this as well. I ordered the wand from the Disney Store last week with their 25% off sale. It was only $19.22 with free shipping so I figured it was worth a shot. I have a feeling my son will want some ears so he can pick those out when we get there.

Dang I will have to be watching for another sale that is a good idea

Can you not get the paintbrush online? I only see the wand glove and headband...and a 60th celebration hat that I LOVE

I couldn't find the paintbrush in the resort last night either. I didn't try DCA, but they didn't have it in DL or WoD, just the wand. They do have a Mickey glove, though.
