Paint the Night in December

I know that Disney has not announced it yet, but does everyone think the Paint the Night parade will still be around in mid-late December? Do you think it will be staying at DCA?

As I'm sure you know it is pure speculation at the moment what will happen. Just when everyone thinks they know what Disney will do they go and do something completely different! It is very popular so I feel like they probably will. I feel like it will stay at DCA for the foreseeable future, as opposed to moving it back to D/L. I think they are preparing to draw as many people as they can away from D/L: SWGE next year with other offerings to spread the crowds out.
Someone did post recently that it could possibly go on hiatus after it's current scheduled run for maintenance etc.. but there really is no way to tell until they announce it.
How long it takes to fix WOC could also come into it - but I think at this stage the 'worst case scenario' is that WOC might be dark till the end of the year but you would think it would surely be running again by December.
I am hoping it will be around next July still. I would like to see it when we are there next year. We did see it at D/L when they had it over there a couple of years ago.
We are going to be at HK D/L in a couple of weeks and they have a very similar parade there so I am going to make sure to see it in HK just in case it's not showing in Anaheim next July.

I would like to hope that they would at least keep it around until WOC is back up and running.

I predict it will be around for a while, especially though the Holidays. With Christmas season being as crazy as it is, keeping a draw to DCA is a good thing.

I think I just answered the question for myself. I think the sad answer is that no, the parade will not be going during that period. I don't think they run parades at DCA when they are having festivals.

The performers don’t even know the schedule after Sept. 3 yet.

They technically can run the parade past the booths, but whether they’ll deal with the logistics of that (and reduced viewing space)... who knows? If WOC is back, I’d kind of think they’ll just have WOC: Seasons of Light and the festival booths, but maybe not...
