Does anyone know if it is safe to use paint(not water colors) on your pages? What type is safe?

I was looking at some stencil supplies and decided that it would be fun to paint on some of my pages. Can any one give this Texan some advice?::MinnieMo

Not sure about using paint, I use chalk or acid free markers with my stencils.

The key to using anything is if it's acid or lignin free. Not sure if paints fall in this category.

I have used a rubber stamp ink pad and make-up sponges with stencils, this worked out well too.

This was just recently in a Jan or Feb magazine (will look through my back copies to find)

If I remember correctly - once dry watercolors and craft paints are fine for scrapbooking.

I have used acryllic paints(white looks awesome on dark Bazzil paper). Not sure if it is acid freethough, I am not a purist on this.

I tried paint several years ago. As it dried it rumpled the paper. I don't know why because I never tried it again. Let us know your results.
