Paint bucket - boat theme??

I LOVE the paint bucket ideas that I've seen on this thread. Thank you for posting - that's exactly what I'm going to make for the adults in my family this year. I'm making one for my in-laws (A Day in the Car) since they enjoy long drives every weekend; one for my sister & husband (Movie Night); and finally, one for my uncle and aunt who are SO HARD to shop for! This one I want to theme "A Day on the Boat" since they spend a LOT of time out on their boat with friends. I'm all set with ideas for the first two buckets, but this boating one has me stuck! I've never seen their boat so I'm not sure what it already has, and I'm not sure what they need.... Can anyone one help with suggestions for things to do on a boat (what DO you do?? I don't think they fish) or anything with a nautical/ocean theme. Thanks! I have a feeling you guys are a lot more creative than I am!

hhhhmmmm tough one

BUT I would say snack foods -
a good book (of course not for the person captaining the boat - lol)
a float or snorkal gear maybe (if they anchor and relax a while)
binoculars maybe (when you are way out to see you need them too look for land!)
Sunscreen (A MUST have especially if they go out in the ocean!)
a nice towel??

Just a note on my upcoming bucket. We bought the bucket and we are going to decorate it as a family for our....change we are saving for WDW

I don't have any suggestions for the boat bucket...but I will keep thinking.

I've never heard of doing paint buckets but they sound so very cute!!! Does anyone have any pictures they can post or a website to go to??? I would love to see them.

at home depot or lowes.

you can also get paint cans at paint stores. I got mine at Mccormack (sp?) paint store and they were a heck of a lot cheaper than lowes or home depot. the gallons were $1.79 and the pints were 98 cents. maggie
