Paid in full -- now what?

Yes, and of course there is actually a story that goes along with it... and of course, I have to tell it AGAIN now

Growing up, I lived with mom and my brother, our dad had died when I was about 3 years old. We were SOOOO poor it wasn't even funny. But, I always wanted to go to disney world. I would watch wonderful world of disney and ask mom when we could go, and she would say, "sometime you'll go." I actualyl thought that there was nothing more to disney than a castle, but boy did I want to see that castle!!!

So, fast forward many years, SO and myself were taking our dd for her 10th birthday. I had researched WDW on the dis for a YEAR getting everything perfect. (but of course, the trip was for her.. not for me ) In that planning, I even managed to secure Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast on our first morning in the parks. Can you think of anything better, breakfast in the castle on your FIRST day ever in WDW??

So, when we get to MK, the fog was so thick that you couldn't see anything in front of you. The park isn't open to everyone, they are just letting the people with the PS in. People are slowly making their way down Main Street USA. You can't tell where they are going because the fog is so think. My dd wispers to me, "Mommy, where is the castle??" I told her that I didn't know, just follow everyone else.

Well, it was like something out of a movie, you could see a little outline of the castle, and then with each step we took, more and more of the castle was visible. Then all of a sudden, POP there it was. I was absolutely in tears by the time we saw it, the anticipation was more than I could stand LOL! In the picture, the castle had just came into view and our dd took off running to it. That is her and SO in the picture.

That is a wonderful story! I would have that photo framed and hanging someplace in my home to bring back that feeling every day!

I'm at 29 days (well, in 6 minutes) and still nothing as well. The CM I talked to yesterday said that they don't send them out until 21 days (3 weeks) before you are scheduled to leave... So that means we have 8 days! I wish it would hurry up!!!

I got my confirmation package about 2 weeks after I paid in full...about 30 days out.

We got part of our ME package today (18 days out). The only passenger listed on the transfers was ds3. The luggage tags were for me and him only. There are another 4 people going. We have 2 rooms reserved, so I am guessing the rest will follow soon. They came FedEx. I need to find out why my name was not on the transfers though.

We're doing the paid in full dance. The bad part about it is now we have to sit and wait till we get our package in Aug. for our Sept trip.
There has not been a day that goes by and I mention something about disney to my husband; needless to say, I'm driving him nuts. Could you see me in 2/3 months from now....

We're at 26 days as well, and all we have are our plane tickets... My FMIL said they came the other day, and when we went to dinner Sunday, she forgot them. I can't wait for the rest of it. Maybe it will be here by this weekend, dmslush.

I just had a little bit of a freak out ... I'm buying a house and the closing will happen in Aug/Sept depending on stuff. So I just freaked out thinking that my tickets for my late November trip won't be able to find me when the come out in October-ish!! THEN (duh) I remembered that I have a PO box through next May so there's no problem there .... geesh, I AM a freak!

OMG!! That is a GREAT story!! It brought tears to my eyes!! It hit me even harder b/c this is my 1st trip & we're also having breakie at CRT on our 1st park at. UGH! I'm a blubbering mess! Anyway!!! Hope you get your package soon! Your trip is almost here!!!!!

LOL... Had I had everything sent to me, I would have done the same because we are moving into our apartment soon, so I had everything sent to my FMIL's house. And I'm STILL freaking out about it! LOL... We're all freaks!
