Paid in full but want to use gift cards

I made my ADR's on Sat morning - CRT and Spirit of Aloha both require that you pay in full (not on the dining plan). I was hoping to pay for both with gift cards that I have. Do you know if I can either call now and have the charges taken off my card and provide the gift card information or have them reverse the charges when you are there and then pay on the gift cards? Any other suggestions to make this work???

That's a good question! We were planning on using Disney Gift Cards to pay for CRT & CG as well. Would love to know the answer to this too - but it never occurred to me...

OK, I answered my own question - if you paid in full when you made the reservation, you can have them reverse the charges when you are at the restaurant and use your gift cards so unless you got the gift cards as a gift or something like that - not really worth the hassle as you will still be paying off your credit card up front. Granted, we bought/have received a ton of gift cards so may still do this so we don't end up with left over cards - we have enough to cover the majority of our out pocket expenses already.

I booked and paid for CRT when I made my ressies.... but I will have the TiW when I get there--- so I just present my card and they will refund 20% (as tip is included in the price). Thanks so much!

I used my TiW recently for CRT and I called in advance to have the 20% discount applied and they did it immediately over the phone. When I arrived at the restaurant they had me show my card even though it was prepaid with the discount. Very easy and convenient.
