Hey everybody. Not sure if this is the place for this question, but I just paid off our trip for early Oct in full......now what? Do they send me info, tickets, dining plan info..what? Do I just sit and wait and gather all of my room cards, tickets, etc the day I arrive? I've never stayed on site b4, so I'm not sure what to expect between now and then.
Thanks!
Melissa

We went through AAA. About a month before our trip, we got our confirmation and some paperwork. However, at check-in, we each received our room key which also doubled as our tickets into the park.

Assuming you already have your confirmation you may not receive anything else in the mail At check-in at your Disney resort you will be given everything you need for your stay.

You have the option to pay off before hand, or pay balance upon arrival, so they don't send you anything in advance for paying off before check in (except maybe a receipt :confused3 ) If you're using ME though I believe you get luggage tags 21 days before departure regarldess if paid in full or not. Have fun!

Usually ablout 3 weeks before your arrival you will recieve all your info ( bag tags, conf and extra info ). If you bought tickets through Disney in a form of a package your room key will also be your ticket into the park or even if you have the dining plan its also used for that. You could also use your room key to charge meals, souveners and anything else you might want. They try to make it as easy as possible. Have a great trip, I'll be there again early October also , see you there!! ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

Are you sure about this poohluvrs? Because when I booked my package, I was told then and am told each time I call to make a payment that I must be paid in full before Oct. 20th, 45 days before our trip.

I just got a letter in the mail saying I was past due on final payment. I too thought I could pay the remainder when I got down. So I called immediately and paid the rest so I wouldn't loose my reservation. Final payment is due within 45 days of arrival (at least if you book with Disney Directly as I did, don't know about AAA or other travel agencies)

Hope this helps,

Sorry! You are right for your situation (& Im guessing the OP's too)....We did not get a dining plan, only room & park tickets, so we do not have to pay the balance until we check in! :wave2:

Thanks everyone...and yes, I ws told I had until Aug 19 to pay ours off.....I guess it's their way of not having to play the guessing game about no shows or late cancellation....if I'm paying this much, this far in advance, I'm GOING and I guess they want everyone to move in this direction, just better business I think and this way they get their $ right now! Just a guess though....but yeah, you have to pay ahead of your arrival.
