Paid but money not taken out.

I phoned up disney to pay the balance last week and add the Buffalo Bill show to my booking.

There was a problem with the 1st card I used as it was flagged by the bank as a possible fraud transaction, so I used another card which Disney said went through ok.

I've received a letter today confirming adding buffalo bill and saying i've paid but so far no money has come out of my bank account.

I'm really worried that they will cancel the booking as this week is the deadline for it being paid.
 
I'd call Disney directly first thing tomorrow morning and find out. They'll be able to tell you.

This happened to me last year and I phoned twice to check and both times they said it was paid in full, although nothing was showing up being taken from my bank. It does seem to take longer to show, can't remember exactly how long but maybe about a week. Just keep checking your bank and it should show up.

I phoned Disney and they said it is being shown as being processed and as far as they are concerned it is paid.

I'm still worried though as my deposit cleared in 3 days and this has been a week!
 

The last two times I have booked online either Disney or the bank have been slow in taking out the funds. If you have phoned up and you have been told its all been confirmed, I wouldn't worry and just keep an eye on your bank statements.
 
It's happened to me too. Disney seem to be very slow in taking the funds - might be due to the transfer to France. I was worried because I hadn't had the email confirmation either (they seem to have switcjhed to email rather than snail mail confirmation since I last booked) but I rang up and they'd spelled my address wrong. They then have to queue the email so it takes at least a day, unlike most things you book online where you get immediate confirmation

It took about a week to be posted for us. Our bank in the USA showed it as pending. I called the bank and they told us it had been approved.

The e-mail confirmation got lost in my spam filter. That's another thing to watch out for, particularly in the States -- mails from overseas often get flagged as spam.
 
Thanks everyone. After checking my bank account daily for the last week it has finally gone through!

Next time I'll make sure I pay at least 2 weeks before the due date to save the stress!!!!:scared1:
