Just thought I would post as this struck me as a little odd. I just paid my dues online using credit card. I got an email confirmation within a few seconds of completing my transaction. The email subject line was 'Payment Confirmation' and the full body of the text was:

Thank you,
Your Disney Vacation Club Family

I guess I just assumed it would say something like "This is your confirmation that you paid $xxxx using Mastercard xxxx.......

Not that I really care as I obviously have the online and credit card confirmations should I ever need them. Just thought the email was a tad brief and useless. :confused3

The e-mail confirmations for loan payments are just a vague.

The DVC website and computer system is also a little odd.

I received the same message after I paid our MF online. Although it was brief, it said what it had to say without saying a lot about what it didn't have to say. Does that make sense?

I own a lot of timeshares and DVC is the only one that gives a message like that. In fact I have never purchased anything on line that doesn't give you a breakdown of the purchase on the confirmation email. Disney, or should I say DVC, has always been a little backward when it comes to computer technology. I think they do not spend enough on taking care of the small stuff and then it becomes a big pain. I am used to it though. I still don't have a copy and I will have to get one from member accounting. Like I said, it's a big pain in the butt.

Paid mine this morning and thought it was very weird. I printed out the confirmation page I got from dvcmember.com though.

I thought it was strange too. What was even better though was I received a "thank you" in the mail today for redeeming my sharing the magic award toward my annual dues. I did that before Thanksgiving and paid my dues right after Christmas. I know they call it "snail mail", but give me a break.:confused3

Heck at least you got a confirmation email. I waited and waited and didn't get any. I checked on my member acct a couple days ago and it was posted...
