The new Paddlefish restaurant in Disney Springs/ DTD has an interesting menu. I see they have Maine Lobster offered. Does anyone know if the 1 1/2 lobster from Maine is included on the 2TS dining plan or is there an upcharge

1) The Main Lobster is "market price".
2) There is no way to predetermine profits from DDP or DxDP credits.
3) Expect an upcharge.

I believe there is an upcharge. Further, having dined there once, we found the experience below par for a Signature. The issues we found--hostessing, service, and inconsistent food--are mentioned frequently on a couple of rating sites. I wouldn't avoid it just based on my experience, but I'd certainly do a little research before committing.

1) Boy, that is the truth.
2) It is shameful to call it a "Signature", other than to increase prices form a regular TS eatery.
3) But, people see a fancy dish (such as Lobster) and automatically assume it will be wonderful.
4) Not always, and certainly not in this case . . . in our opinion.

Thanks everyone for your honest opinions. I think we'll stick with the Boathouse. Hopefully they'll work out the kinks cuz it looks like a fun place to dine.

I agree that I hope they do work out the kinks. Our one and only visit was four months ago, and we were going back just a couple of months later; however, too many reviews during that two-month gap had the same issues, so it scared us off. It's a lovely place to dine but as you say, the kinks need to be smoothed out.
