Ok....so we are going to WDW in 5 weeks and I was starting to lay out the new clothes that I got DS (who is 14mo) and just realized, I think I may have to go out any buy a couple more pairs of shorts. How many outfits did your toddler go through in a day?
TIA
Allie

I just finished packing my twins (13 mos.) suitcase about an hour ago. I plan to wash half way through the trip. For a six day stay I have 8 outfits for each baby plus an extra set of clothes in the diaper bag for emergencies. So, if I have to break out the "emergency outfit" I know that I still have a couple extra outfits packed and with washing after 3 days I will be set. Hope this helps.

At 14 months, we went through 2-3 outfits per day (when we went to the parks). We had the outfit we put on in the morning (#1), our change if we got ice cream all over us or played in the fountains (#2), and then whatever we wore in the evening after we swan in the afternoon, usually a little dressier like a sundress (#3).

We did do laundry 1/2 way through b/c a lot of her clothes got dirty (food, etc) and I didnt want them sitting dirty until we got home, but since I went overboard shopping, she didn't really need to wear many things twice! :-)

I do 2 outfits per day per person (adult & child). That includes socks & undergarments.

I do laundry on the mid-day break of day 3 & then again day 5 & usually the day before we leave.

I try not to over pack anymore since we all have favorite outfits & would rather wear them & doing laundry is easy since I throw the clothes in & dh & I take turns checking it while we are either swimming or napping.

When my kids were that little we only had one outfit per day. I don't think I ever broke out a second outfit. I did include two extra outfits for the trip in case of emergency, but I didn't need to use them. I did usually end up doing laundry:laundy: near the end of the trip, but that was because I can't stand to come home with a ton of dirty laundry.

I always did 1 per day plus 1 extra and a dressy outfit. I always figured I could wash if I needed, but I didn't. Every time I pack 2 outfits per day we come home with extra clean clothes, kicking ourselves for carrying around the too-full bags the whole time.

Wow - I guess I am the queen of light packing. For my 2 and 4 year old I plan 1 pair of shorts for 2 days and 1 shirt for each day, then 1 extra outfit in case we have an accident. For myself I plan 1 pair of shorts for every 3 days and a shirt for every 2 days, plus one extra shirt. In our past 7 trips (not necessarily to Disney) there was only one time when I had to wash a pair of my son's undies in the sink because I was running short.

Reading the other posts has reminded me that having fresh clothes for the evenings is a must especially for the babies. I don't want to bring them to dinner in the same clothes that they have sweated in and probably will have sunscreen on them from my sloppy applications. So, I may throw in a couple more outfits for each baby and still wash on day 3! thanks moms!!!

I packed 2 extra outfits for each kid. They have plenty of clothes! Its me and my husband I am worried about- I am planning on having to do our laundry- I figured that way if I dont end up having to, its a treat! :rotfl2:
