Packing!!!

ok so I'm a nut! but I've already started packing!!! this is a very difficult process b/c I have ADD and will leave SOMETHING of BFs behind (oops!) not on purpose it just happens...never mind how many lists I use it just never works,...So, since last trip I forgot the toiletries I have decided to buy all new for the trip and pack them NOW!!! one less aggrivation!!

We have 62 days left til our trip and today I started packing as well! We've picked up special outfits for the DSs that go with the parks that we are going to. So today I put the washed clothes into their ziploc baggies with the label of the child and day that it is to be worn. God I sound like such an anal retentive dork! But it helped because I realized that DH does not have enough shorts for the trip and that all 3 DSs are short one outfit! So I get to go shopping again!
I'm sure I'll be packing and repacking and unpacking and repacking for the next 9 weeks! Up until the time my DH tells me to step away from the suitcase!

Well our trip isn't untill labor day weekend. but since we live in miami it takes us 4 hrs to get to orlando with the rest stops. But a night before im filling up the tank of gas and getting all the lugage in the back of my expedition. We are leaving at hopefully leaving like at 4am and get there more or less at 8am to check in at the CR. I wounder if they let you check in at 8am??? Im booking the trip on monday and the spa at the grand floridian and chef mickey. I'm really excited ... my husband thinks im taking it a little bit too far but im in love with Disney

Just over a week for us and I haven't started either....so busy with work, marching band, baseball, soon to be arriving exhange student.....no much going on - just normal day for us!!!!

I leave this Saturday morning - less than 2 days - and I haven't started packing yet!!! Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow night?!?!

We leave at 1:30 this afternoon, and we haven't started packing yet! Just a 3 day weekend trip though, so it's not too big of a deal this time around.

My question is "Why do you have to worry about your BF's stuff ?" I assume he is more than 6 years old so what he brings is not your problem. You are setting a bad precedent. Take it from someone who has been married more than 32 years.

I have my DMIL watching one of my boys just so I could get a start on packing. She thinks I'm NUTS for wanting to pack the clothes so soon. She says, won't they be a wrinkled mess? I'm like, uh, who cares?! It's DISNEY!! So today I start packing.

15 more days and we leave for our 14nights at WDW! Brought down the suitcases last weekend, started putting WDW only items in them. Boss knows I'll need to take the day before our vacation off to finish up packing, etc (Actually she put me down for the day off! wonder why?!)

I know I know...5 years into this relationship and believe you me I know what mistakes I've made! I just try to be helpful...most of the time he just repacks himself but figures I have the bases covered-it ends up being more work for him in the end! Oh well..what is done is done...I'm still having a hard time getting him to take the trash out with out asking him to...*MEN* but I love him anyway...

Awe, I am sure you will be just fine. I pack real early too. My parents are going the same time as us in December and I am certain that they have either started packing or thought about it LOL!! I am always terrified I will forget something but really most things like clothes, toilettries, makeup, etc. can be replaced or really it would give me an excuse to not have makeup on for a least 1 week LOL! So, don't stress about it. Everything will be fine. Just enjoy packing and imagine all the fun things you will be doing at the World when you wear those clothes and things.

Okay, that makes me feel better. By the way we live in Maine, which is why we never go away in the summer. Have fun! Our WDW trip is set for the end of Sept. ( I"ll start organizing to pack about a week ahead of time. My DH will pack an hour before we leave)

Winterman...I loved maine! it was awsome! We went on a whale watch and I turned green! but I didnt puke!!!
Now explain to me why I can ride mission space, space mountain, star tours.. and just about anything else and not get queezy??? Put me on a boat in the open ocean and my stomach just says "um no. not today"

And the worst part was we didnt even see a whale!!! (but they signed our tickets so we can go back with in the year...
