Last trip I was SO excited to pack!

This time it just seems to be such an ordeal.

The trip is so long and I have so much I have to remember.

Any DIS tips to make it easier? I'm currently packing in time order. So hopefully for AKL and GF which are first 8 days we only have to open one case. Then indexer get to BW (11 nights there) we can unpack the rest.

Stop packing so much. We travel with an everyday backpack. We buy toiletries when we arrive (they're no more expensive than in the UK) and enjoy a bit of shoppping for a few extra clothes etc. My motto - if it doesn't fit under the seat in front of you on the plane, you've overpacked. :thumbsup2

Normally I'd agree.

But we have SO much wedding stuff. Clothes, decorations, place cards, menus, gifts etc.

I'm really cutting down on clothes and toiletries etc. But still there's loads!

In that case, my advice is to do exactly the opposite of what you are doing. Spread all the things you need across all your pieces of luggage. That way, if one goes missing, you haven't lost ALL your wedding stuff or ALL your clothes etc.

Have you family going too? Give to them to take. I gave my mum and Dad my dress to carry as they flew a couple of days before us an I sold it to them with the I'd have more time to track it own if it got lost. They even bought it back for me.

I do remember the dread and panic. I'd made place setters, boxes and thank you Disney dollar cards. List list list
